Thomas Sweet Review

If you like ice cream even a tiny little bit, Thomas Sweets is a must. T Sweets (as it is affectionately referred to by regulars) makes its ice cream fresh in-store and has a huge variety of unique flavors to choose from. Their ice cream is the best ice cream I have ever had, and I have never had a flavor there that I didn't like. Obama even visited this Georgetown staple in the summer of 2011.

Summer is the perfect time for T Sweets, and the line for ice cream usually snakes outside the front doors--but don't worry, it'll go fast. In addition to their ice cream, T Sweets offers fudge and the most delicious ice cream cake in the world. They make their standard ice cream cakes with Oreo ice cream and it is heaven.

The blend-in is the local favorite here, which is when they blend any of their over 30 flavors with about 20 different toppings. T Sweets can get a little pricey, but that's mostly because even their small is large and their large is mammoth. So you're getting a lot of ice cream for your money, and you will definitely leave happy.

3. Cookie Monster -- Cookie dough flavored ice cream
