Best Places to Find New Recipes

If you're like me and love scouring the internet for recipes, here's a page that should give you a little guidance.

1. Food Network's Website -- I frequent the Food Network's website to watch their shows and snag some great recipes. I often end up tweaking them a little bit, but their recipes are a great starting point for a lot of basic dishes. Their "Healthy Cooking" tab is a great place to find easy, low-cal recipes that you can make easy substitutions to.

2. All Recipes -- All Recipes is an ideal place to hunt down a tried and true recipe that has been reviewed and photographed a million times over. Hearing about other people's successes/failures with certain dishes makes things easier when you try and make the dish yourself.

3. Epicurious -- Epicurious offers a mix between gourmet recipes from magazines such as Bon Appetit  and easier home-cook recipes. Specifically, I love the dessert section of this website. If you're a chocoholic, please check it out.

4. Food.com -- Food.com is a great place for home-cooks to post their recipes and share them with other home cooks. I've posted a few of my own recipes up there, and it feels great to make a contribution to the culinary world in some small way.

5. Taste of Home -- This is another website for home cooks who want to share their brilliance with other home cooks. If you're not looking for a recipe it's still fun to browse this site to check out some of the great tips and recipes.

6. Betty Crocker -- I really love this website. I think its because Betty Crocker reminds me of being a kid. I usually use Betty Crocker for cake and dessert recipes, but the website has a huge selection of savory dishes as well.

I'm going to keep adding websites to this list as I find them, and I would love some suggestions! Leave any in the comments below.
